The Pink Edit

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and it's a subject that's close to my heart. As a breast cancer survivor, I'm hugely thankful to say that I've been in remission for five years now. Naturally, I'm passionate about raising awareness of the importance of checking yourself regularly and keeping up with your routine screening appointments. So in honour of this very special month, we're celebrating it with a pink edit.

According to colour psychology, pink is a calming colour associated with love, kindness, and femininity. It can reduce anxiety and offer the wearer comfort and reassurance. It's typically associated with all things feminine, but being derived from red, it also conveys a calm, subtle strength and confidence. All the more reason to get into the pink this month.
