Our five key looks for Spring 21

Our five key looks for Spring 21

After the year that was in 2020, we're feeling more confident about 2021. With the rollout of the Coronavirus vaccine, life will hopefully begin to return to some semblance of normality and we can start getting out into the world more. Small, simple things - like the act of getting dressed to go out and see friends or go to work - will feel so good.

So with this bright glimmer of light on the horizon, our attention has turned to our brand new Spring collection and our five key looks for the sunnier days ahead.

Detailed shirts
It's all in the detail this season as shirts are adorned with dreamy frills, big collars and ever-classic broderie anglaise. I have always loved shirts - they are effortlessly chic - and they are big news in 2021.

Bold shoulders

Shoulders on knits, sweatshirts and shirts were giving it large on the catwalks of the big name fashion houses for SS21. We've picked up on the trend in our collection this season with sleeveless vests featuring padded shoulders - perfect to wear over shirts & dresses - and interesting shoulder details such as buttons and frills.

Tie dye done well

Think tie dye and it may not always conjure up a vision of elegance, but the big name designers have hopped on this trend which arose in 2020 while we were at home experimenting and tie dye is now popping up everywhere in very chic form.

Simple stripes

I adore stripes and Breton stripes (ok, I may be a little bias!) always deliver a welcome fresh injection of classic style for Spring. They have me hankering for sunny days, buying fresh flowers, wandering through markets, or sitting by the sea or the river. Timeless stripes appear on our knits and shirts this season.

Feel-good colours

The appetite for pastels and candy hues is here to stay which is great news because these soft shades suit almost every skin tone. Sorbet-inspired pinks, greens, yellows, blues and lilacs all feature in our new collection and are perfect for brightening your wardrobe long into summer.
